However, it's important to note that the control box, which is required to receive the signal, is not included.

The remote has a maximum operating distance of 6 meters, ensuring convenient control of your strip lights from a distance. To confirm compatibility, please ensure that your previous LED light remote had 44 keys and a 4-pin connector, similar to the one provided. If your previous remote had the words "RF remote controller" on the bottom, this IR remote may not be compatible, as RF remotes can penetrate obstacles like walls, while IR remotes cannot.

Troubleshooting tips: 1. Properly connect the LED lights to the white control box (not included) by aligning the arrows. Failure to do so may prevent the LED lights from turning on and the remote from functioning. 2. Remove the transparent plastic sheet inserted into the battery door before using the remote, and then press the power button. 3. Aim the IR remote directly at the control box receiver, not other parts of the LED strips, to ensure the control box can receive the signals. The distance between the remote and control box should be within 6 meters. 4. If the color buttons on the IR remote do not respond to the correct light colors, power off the remote and press the bottom right button (Fade 7) for a few seconds. The light strip will flash once, and after that, you can switch on the remote to control the right colors. This process will cycle the light colors to different buttons.
