Solderless Waterproof LED Strip Connector for SMD 5050 RGB Flexible LED Strip

These solderless 4-pin connectors are only suitable for 10mm wide WATERPROOF RGB 5050 LED strips that have 4 copper contacts at the cutting line. To ensure good electrical conductivity, the 4 pins in the connectors should completely penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the WATERPROOF LED strip. When cutting the LED strip into 2 sections, it is crucial to carefully cut along the cutting line to ensure the copper contact areas on both LED strips are the same, not one with a larger area and the other with a smaller area. If the copper contact area is too small, the 4 pins in the connectors cannot fully penetrate the 4 copper contacts, resulting in poor electrical conductivity and potentially leading to only 2 different colors or even no colors at all.

The installation instructions are as follows:

1. Carefully cut the WATERPROOF RGB 5050 LED strip along the cutting line, ensuring the area of the 4 copper contacts on each LED strip is the same.
2. Remove the tape on the backside of the LED strip around the area of the 4 copper contacts to expose the contacts.
3. Make sure to match the + electrode on the connector to the + electrode on the LED strip.
4. Adjust the contact points between the 4 pins in the connector and the 4 copper contacts on the LED strip, ensuring the 4 pins can completely penetrate the 4 copper contacts. Then, use your finger to press the LED strip slightly so that the 4 pins can go through the 4 copper contacts and into the LED strip.
5. Close the LED strip in the connector, making sure the 4 pins in the connectors fully penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the LED strip.

These waterproof-design, easy-clasp, solderless connectors are specially designed for WATERPROOF SMD 5050 RGB LED strips that have 4 copper contacts at the cutting line. They cannot be used with non-waterproof RGB 5050 LED strips.

No soldering is required. Simply clasp the prepared WATERPROOF LED strip section into the connector to establish the connection. However, during installation, you need to carefully adjust the contact position to ensure the 4 pins in the connectors can completely penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the WATERPROOF LED strip to guarantee good electrical conductivity.
